In accordance with Google Play's Account & Data Deletion policy and applicable privacy standards, users of UPSC Audiobook (com.setunotes.upscaudiobook) can easily request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal study data.

What Data Is Deleted vs Retained?
We value your privacy and practice data minimization. Here is a clear breakdown of what happens when you request account deletion for the UPSC Audiobook app:
Data Permanently Deleted
Removed within 30 days- User Profile & Authentication: Google ID, Name, Registered Email address, Avatar/Profile Photo.
- Audiobook Listening Progress: Chapter timestamps, playback completion status, speed preferences, and downloaded chapter logs.
- AI Mains Answer Evaluations: Uploaded answer sheets, handwritten images, transcribed answer text, AI feedback, score ratings, and suggestions.
- Prelims Mock Test Data: Attempt history, quiz scores, accuracy analytics, bookmarks, and revision flags.
- Personal Notes & Highlights: All custom audio notes, chapter bookmarks, and highlighted syllabus tags.
- Device Identifiers & Push Tokens: FCM notification tokens, device models, OS versions, and session tokens.
Data Retained (If Applicable)
Strict legal & operational limits- Financial & Transaction Records (If any): If you made in-app purchases or donations, invoice records are retained for the statutory period required by Indian Tax and Accounting Laws (e.g., GST / Income Tax Act) and then purged.
- Anonymized / Aggregated Telemetry: Aggregated app crash rates, performance metrics, and general analytics that are completely anonymized and cannot be linked back to any individual user.
- Deletion Audit Log: A timestamped hash of the deletion request record (with PII redacted) to verify compliance with Google Play Store policies and privacy laws.
Deletion Timeline & Verification Protocol
1. Verification: We may send a verification email to your registered address to ensure the request is authorized by the actual account holder.
2. Cooling-off Period: If requested via web, a 7-day grace period applies in case you submitted by mistake.
3. Complete Purge: All personal data across production databases and replica backups is permanently deleted within 30 days maximum, complying with Google Play Data Safety requirements.
